When is the best time to visit Northern Territory?

Australia's Northern Territory is a year-round destination which stays mostly warm and sunny, but if you want to make the most of the gorgeous beaches and national parks in the tropical northern part, we suggest you head there between December and March - during Australia's summer. The driest periods in this part of Northern Territory fall between May and October, when it's only a little cooler but there's less chance of rain.

The Red Centre has a different climate entirely. This dry, arid expanse experiences super-hot summers from November to February, whereas during British summertime, it can get pretty cold, especially at night.
