Our expeditions, tours and trips to Antarctica run from November to March when the weather is milder; however, temperatures will still generally be below freezing. Depending on which month you visit, there will be slight differences in scenery and wildlife, but all are sure to be equally as breathtaking. November sees the ice break into incredible icebergs, whilst December and January have longer hours of daylight and an exciting amount of penguin, seal and bird activity. Whereas February and March are the months to descend on this frozen landscape if you’re looking to witness the presence of the majestic whales. Mother Nature does of course take matters into her own hands, making a stunning spectacle of ice, water and wildlife a dead cert.
