What will I be doing?
On the Work Australia program you are permitted to work for either a 4 or 12 month period as U.S. citizens have the choice of two different visa options.  The four month visa is a perfect option for Gap Year students (between high school and university) or those who only have a short time to spend in Australia..

Am I eligible? 
You must:
• Be aged 18-30 inclusive at the time of application
• Be a U.S. citizen and passport holder
• Be a high school graduate (12 month option only)

Employment information
Many participants find casual employment. Australian options are plentiful ranging from: construction, catering, factory and office jobs. Salaries range from AU$12 to AU$25 per hour. However, if you have relevant experience and a bit of motivation, jobs can be found in just about any sector.
