8 food trucks you need to try in Vancouver

Often regarded as the food truck capital of the world, Vancouver has got this on-wheels trend nailed and man does it look tasty! With an ever-changing selection of cuisines even the most demanding of foodies will struggle to get bored.

1. MOM’s Grilled Cheese

Simple, effective and exactly the comfort food you need after a wild one on Vancouver’s tiles.

2. Roaming Dragon

Fluffy bao buns filled with crispy katsu and Southeast Asian flavours? If that doesn’t sound like street food porn we don’t know what does.

3. Jamaican mi Juicy

A taste of the tropics with mouth-watering authentic Jamaican curries and fresh, fruity smoothies (sass below not included).

4. Culver City Salads

Salads never looked so darn good… An #eattherainbow experience can be devoured at this healthista haven. Makes up for all the shots last night, right?

5. Tacofino

We won’t burrito round the bush, if it’s a Mexican street feast you desire, look no further. The zingy guac, spicy salsa and perfectly charred meat or veg… there’s a reason these guys boast some of the best fish tacos in British Columbia. Taco’bout awesome!

6. Japadog

As the name suggests, an epic fusion of Japanese flavours with a street-food favourite: the hot dog. Who knew a teriyaki sausage was exactly what our lives were lacking?

7. Via Tevere Pizzeria Express

Prepare to commit carb-o-cide and regret absolutely nothing with Neaopolitan style wood fired pizza sandwiches. Mmmm doughy-cheesy goodness…

8. Yolks

The truck that truly answers, “How do you like your eggs in the morning?” the yolks served up here are anything but basic. Fried chicken and waffles, eggs benedict on toasted mushrooms or simply poached to perfection.
