Under 25?
Many rental companies charge extra to drivers between the ages of 21 and 25, and most will not rent to drivers under the age of 21. Be sure to read the terms and conditions of your rental agreement before purchase to make sure you are eligible for the car rental.

Debit Cards
Don't be surprised by high deposits when you pick up your car if you are planning to pay with cash or a debit card. Many rental car locations will place a high dollar hold on your debit card, or require a large cash deposit for renters that do not have a credit card. Do note that credit cards can only be in the driver's name!
