About London Airports
Most cheap flights from the United States to London are into London Heathrow Airport (LHR). This busy airport is located in West London, and is served by the major U.S. and European airlines. The cheapest way to get into Central London from London Heathrow is by the London Underground, which will get you to most anywhere in the city for around $10-$15, and it takes around an hour depending on your final destination. There are also other train and bus options available from Heathrow.

London Gatwick (LGW), London Stansted (STN), London City (LCY) and London Luton (LTN) make up the other 5 international airports serving London. Though these airports have limited nonstop service to the United States, you might find London flight deals into these other airports if you don't mind making a connection in another European Airport. These airports are not directly connected to the London Underground, but do have bus and rail options available into Central London.
