What prices will STA Travel beat?
We guarantee to beat any genuine available economy class airfare quote that can be booked through other travel agents. Just think; your next flight could be the cheapest going round! (Conditions do apply, so make sure you take a squiz at the boring stuff below).
How this baby works
1. Find an international economy airfare that is available to the Australian general public* from another branch-based travel agent, online travel agent or travel agent call centre.
2. Before booking the travel, you need to obtain a printed confirmation of the competitor quote on headed paper or equivalent (i.e. print out of web page) complete with price, booking conditions, travel dates, number of passengers and date of quote clearly shown. The quote must to presented to STA Travel the same day as it was made by the competitor. The $1,000 cash back offer will be valid against the initial competitor quote only.
3. Visit an STA Travel branch or Call 134 STA (782). Email requests cannot be accepted unless following a phone or branch visit enquiry.
4. Show STA Travel staff printed confirmation of the quote. For telephone enquiries you can fax or email the quote to your travel consultant following your phone call.
5. STA Travel will check the quote for availability and booking conditions that same day.
6. If STA Travel is able to confirm that the quote is still available to be booked as per the itinerary, we will not only match the airfare but guarantee to BEAT IT! If we can’t beat it, we’ll give you $1,000!
Terms and conditions
-The offer is valid for new bookings only. Bookings that have already been made (airfares where a deposit has been paid or airfares that are fully paid) are not eligible for this offer.
-The offer only applies to international economy-class airfares.
-The offer does not apply to domestic or Trans-Tasman airfares.
-The written competitor quote must be presented to STA Travel the same day as it was made by the competitor, and must be available to be booked at the price quoted at the time you present it to us. (If the quoted time or date isn’t available, we’ll do our best to keep it as cheap as possible!)
-The guarantee only applies for travel on the same dates, using the same flights, and destinations as the written competitor quote.
-The quote must be from an Australian registered business or website for travel originating ex Australia only.
-The guarantee applies to scheduled airlines only (not Charters or Low Cost Airlines such as Air Asia; Pacific Blue; Jetstar; Tiger Airways; Virgin Blue; Viva Macau).
-The guarantee cannot be redeemed for purchases online at statravel.com.au.
*Fares available to the general public are deemed as fares available to an audience, not registered to a subscription or membership audience. STA Travel will not offer guarantee to closed subscriber or membership group offers.
