Mbokomu Primary School in Korini, Kusini village is just a short 5-minute walk from camp. Walk to and from school with the African kids rom the local Chagga tribe. There is years of sustainable project work at the school starting with the construction of a new school canteen for the 800 plus students who need to be fed every day. Pupil ages range from 7-14 years old. There are over 14 classrooms to be renovated, desks need building and water is currently available 250 metres away so we would like to bring a supply closer. The community project work lasts for a minimum of 3 weeks of your trip and is the main focus and probably most rewarding part of your time with Camp Tanzania.
Wildlife Safari - Northern Tanzania provides a backdrop for possibly the best safari experience in Africa. On completion of your projects, we take you on a camping safari to Lake Manyara, Arusha and Tarangire National Parks. Spend 3 rough, dusty and thrilling days exploring the different habitats that each park has to offer. With experienced professional guides for all our trips, you’ll see as much of wildlife as possible.

Camp Tanzania – 1 month including:
* Arrival and Departure transfers
* Orientation
* Tour leader and local guides used within National Parks and Reserves.

* 10 days in Zanzibar

* Tour leader and local guides used within National Parks and Reserves.
* Qualified local builders and carpenters will also supervise construction work. On-site management throughout.
* 3-day Safari to a Tanzanian National Park
* Transport: Fully equipped safari vehicle, minivan or bus
* Accommodation: Mixture of 2-person walk-in tents, dome tents for safari and simple hotel accommodation.
* Meals: Full board including water for Tanzania phase. Bed & breakfast for Zanzibar.
* Project Funds, Project Materials and Project coordination
* Park Entrance Fees (we reserve the right to pass on any increases in park fees).
* Single sex twin (shared) accommodation throughout tour.

Camp Tanzania & Zanzibar – 3 months including:
* This package is the same as the two-month package but gives you the extra time in camp to play a bigger part in the projects and also to create a stronger bond with the local people, staff and fellow gappers.
* Extra accommodation costs for the extra month are included.
