STA Travel wants to help you see more. We know you don't have all the time in the world, so we're helping you out.
Read on to learn how to explore two places, on one ticket. Sweet deal!
It’s almost time, the sweet release of summer is near. Time to start the countdown, begin the search for your passport (where did you leave it?), and get ready for all that hard-core summer traveling that’s got you counting down the days. STA Travel really wants you to maximize your experience abroad this year, so, here’s what we propose. Don’t waste your precious summer travel time this year by visiting just one destination. Visit two places, for the cost of one ticket. Seriously. We aren’t kidding.
Ok, so what could we be talking about? Since scientists have yet to make any real advancements in teleportation (scientists, if you’re reading, stop reading and go make some sweet discoveries), we here at STA Travel HQ have been racking our brains trying to figure out a cheaper way for you to see more, for as little as possible. We’ve had an ingenious idea that we’re sure will forever change the way you travel. We want you to start taking full advantage of stopovers. Yeah, that’s right! Stopovers, the bane of your travel experience.
We know that since booking the ticket for your next travel shenanigans, you’ve probably been generally unfocused and unproductive. We also know that once the big day arrives, you dread the layover. We’ve all been there. You venture through the various terminals, eat copious amounts of fast food, buy grossly overpriced books and magazines, and sit back down by the gate and hope that they start boarding soon. Once you get seated on the plane, you just can’t help but feel a little agitated. The first flight was like a dress rehearsal, and now you’re ready for the main event. It doesn't help that you've just wasted half of a day or more, when you could already be at your destination, taking Facebookable photos of yourself in a location that’s sufficiently jealousy inducing!
With that in mind, we’ve been a bit crafty and worked out some special treatment just for you, that will allow you to stay in your stopover destination for up to one year before moving on to your final destination, in most cases. So, how does it work?
Well, take Bangkok for example. When you fly to Bangkok from the U.S., you might have a stopover in Tokyo. Now, instead of lurking around terminals, you can lurk around Japan, for up to a year before completing the journey to Bangkok. Japan and Thailand, for just the price of a flight to Bangkok? Pure evil genius. Check out the information below. We’ve got this option in Europe, Asia, South Pacific, Africa and Latin America.
