The hotel is located in Pyeongchangdong, a quiet residential area 10 minutes by bus from downtown. This super-traditional guesthouse is family operated. Traditional Korean breakfast (or toast if you can't face kimchi that early) is free, as is unlimited tea and coffee in one of the exquisite living rooms - you'll eat at a cute mini-table on floor cushions, drinking from beautiful ceramic tea cups, so make sure your knees are up to the job! The owner's dad used to teach English, meaning this is one place you won't have trouble making yourself understood - he'll also give you a Korean language lesson if you ask nicely. Use of the washing machine and Internet is also free!
Rooms are air-conditioned and have under-floor heating, traditional Korean mattress or bed, shower, satellite television, telephone and hairdryer.
