Days 1-2 Paris, France
Join your new group of fellow travellers as we depart London for the white cliffs of Dover. Cross by ferry to beautiful France and then on to the capital, Paris to our centrally located hotel. Allow yourself to be seduced by this beautiful city. See the Place de la Concorde, Champs Elysee, Eiffel Tower, Hotel d'Invalides, Arc de Triomphe, Notre Dame Cathedral, the Louvre Museum and much more on the city highlights tour. Why not sample the French cuisine in the Latin Quarter before a night light tour of this fabulous city, including Montmartre and Sacre Coeur. The next day is yours, free to enjoy the many sights Paris has to offer before our famous champagne picnic under the Eiffel Tower. Tonight you have the option to go to the famous 'Paradis Latin' cabaret show, or take a River Seine cruise. C'est magnifique! (B,D)
Days 3-4 Lucerne, Switzerland
This morning we take a relaxing journey to the pretty lakeside town of Lucerne. Our highlights tour includes the famous Lion Monument, Chapel Bridge, Glacier Gardens and Hopfkirche. Why not take an alpine excursion up one of the many mountains here, have a relaxing cruise on Lake Lucerne - or tempt yourself while window shopping through the exclusive boutiques and stores. Day 5 Florence, Italy
Heading south into Italy, we visit Pisa and then travel to Florence, famous for its renaissance art and dramatic architecture. Tonight we enjoy a typical Italian dinner at our famous Tuscan Resort. Plenty of leisure time to discover Michelangelo's David, or explore the famous markets. (B,L,D)
Days 6-7 Rome, Italy / Vatican City
This morning you will see the Uffizi Gallery, Duomo Cathedral, Ponte Vecchio and Santa Croce Church on our walking highlights tour of Florence. Visit a traditional leathercraft demonstration. After lunch we head on to Rome, the eternal city and home of St. Peter's Basilica, Circus Maximus and the Colosseum. Our walking tour takes in the Spanish Steps, Pantheon, Piazza Navona, the ancient Roman Forum, and the magnificent Trevi Fountain (throw a coin and make a wish). See the world's finest artorks on a tour of the Vatican. (Bx2,D)
Days 8-9 Venice, Italy
Our next stop is Romeo and Juliet's Verona, and then the unique city of Venice, a city of canals with it's own beautiful palacial buidlings. Our walking tour passes the famous Rialto Bridge, St. Mark's Basilica, Doges Palace and the Bridge of Sighs. See some Venetian glass blowing and lace-making demonstrations.You'll have plenty of free time to get lost in the narrow streets and canals. Day 10 Munich, Germany
Today we travel through Austria, before continuing to the Bavarian capital of Munich. Join our highlights tour to see the Old Town Hall, Church of Our Lady and the famous Glockenspiel in the Marienplatz. In the evening why not visit one of the famous Bavarian Beerhalls. Prost! (B,L)
Day 11 Rhine Valley, Germany
Most spectacular scenery as we head to the German town of Koblenz on the romantic River Rhine. Take a cruise along the Rhine and see numerous medieval castles scattered along the hilltops. Learn how beer steins are made and visit a cuckoo clock shop. (B,L,D)
Days 12-13 Amsterdam, Netherlands
Today the cultural Amsterdam awaits us. See historic Dam Square, the National Monument and Anne Frank's House or discover the outstanding artistic treasures in the Rijks and Van Gogh museums. See cheese and clog-making demonstrations and of course windmills. This evening experience Amsterdam's infamous Red Light District. Tonight why not end the tour on a high note with a Canal Cruise soaking up the unique bohemian atmosphere of this liberated and exciting city. (Bx2,L,D)
Day 14 London, England
This morning we head to Brugge in Belgium for a walking tour and a visit to a chocolate factory. Then we head through the French countryside to the port of Calais. Cross the Channel to the white cliffs of Dover, arriving back in London early evening. (B)
