8-22 day adventures

You could be cruising around the famous Greek Isles on a 50-foot yacht! Can’t you just see it now - chillin’ on the deck and workin’ on your tan as your yacht slices easily through the crystal blue waters of the sea. Snorkel and swim all you want while “at sea,” and hike, shop and sightsee when you make port. At night, you party like a rock star. The Greek Isles are known for their ridiculous nightlife. You and your travel mates will have plenty of those incredible “WE’RE IN GREECE” moments. These are the best moments for travelers – when your emotions finally catch up with your brain. You already know you’re in Greece. These moments let you finally feel it.

This adventure takes you to the islands of Mijet, Korkula, Loviste, Hvar, and Brac. Legend has it that Mijet is where the nymph Calypso enchanted Ulysses (for you mythology buffs). Korkula is where Marco… Polo was born and it’s where you’ll find traditional knight dancing. The islands offer great beaches, natural beauty and interesting cities. Swim, snorkel, fish, party on board the boat, shop, club at night, and dine on tasty food to your heart’s content.

You could easily add this adventure to your travel plans. It starts in Dubrovnik and ends in Brac, so you just hop the train once you’re done and head on to your next exciting destination.

Day Trips and Getting Around

London, Lisbon and Stockholm, for example, offer boating tours which can last up to half of a day. These adventures provide a new perspective of a city and its major attractions. In London, you’ll hit the Thames River on Red Rover Cruises. This is a hop-on-hop-off service that lets you control when and where you board the boat throughout the day. It’s a great break from walking or taking a tour bus (though there’s nothing wrong with either).

In Lisbon, you can sit back and relax as you admire the city from a cruise along the Tagus River. In Lisbon, you can also get in on the Estoril Coast and Sintra excursion, which is a combination of sea and land sightseeing. The coast gives you the sand and surf. Sintra is a mountain paradise that offers some exquisite photo ops.

Stockholm is a city built on 14 islands so boat tours are an ideal way to see everything you want. You can take a formal cruise, which lasts about an hour, or do a hop-on-hop-off tour. We highly suggest hopping a ferry and getting out into Stockholm’s archipelago: 24,000 islands that are some of the most incredible you’ll find. The archipelago offers a variety of tourist-friendly stuff like restaurants, hostels, B&B’s and fishing. But, some of the islands are deserted and offer completely undisturbed natural beauty and wildlife.

Venice is famous for being a city built on water - we're talking about 118 islands in a lagoon. One of the most famous ways to explore the city and get a fantastic perspective of the incredible architecture is by gondola! You can sit back and relax as you make your way through the Grand Canal, listening to your gondolier share great stories and facts about the city. Gondolas can be romantic but they can also be just a fun way to check stuff out. So, guys, don't be scared to hop on board. When you want to move from one island to another, you'll want to take the vaporetti (water buses). They're fast, convenient and run really often.
