Rome has two airports, Fiumicino and Ciampino. Only Fiumicino is connected to the center, by direct trains leaving every hour to Termini. Hourly buses run from Ciampino to the Anagnina metro station, from there it’s a 20-minute ride into the city center; otherwise take a bus to the Ciampino train station and then a train into Termini. Taxis from either airport take around 40 minutes, and are worth considering if you’re in a group.
