Madrid: The culture, people and way of life here will amaze you! Long lunches then vibrant nightlife with trendy bars and clubs open until dawn in every corner of the city. As you stroll through the various quarters or ‘Barrios,’ you’ll be amazed at the contrasts: compare the Rastro flea-market to the ultra-modern shops, or the traditional flamenco to the sound of techno music. The Spanish capital offers a cultural heritage second to none, with museums such as the Prado, the Thyssen Collection and the Reina Sofia holding some of the world’s largest permanent art exhibitions.
