STA Travel is offering you the opportunity to be an au pair in Europe!
Spend time with your host family and experience first hand an unforgettable cultural exchange. We're making it happen for you in France, Spain, Switzerland or Italy.
Ever thought about taking your skills and going international? Being an Au Pair may be the ticket for you!
Au Pairs help with childcare 5 days a week and are expected to teach, play and take care of the children. Some light housework may be required as well. In return, you will receive an allowance, meals, and stay in a private room in the family residence.
Au pairs are matched with families based on compatibility and are given a guaranteed work placement prior to arrival in Europe. The host families are carefully screened by our local representatives and our partners will conduct interviews, check references and background police reports during your application process.
Requirements for an Au Pair:
- France: Age 18-25
- Switzerland: Age 18-25
- Spain: Age 18-27
- Italy: Age 18-30
- Minimum 3-month commitment
- Apply 12-16 weeks prior to departure (If you want to go within 12 weeks, an expedite fee will be required.)
- To qualify for a visa, the participant must enroll in a language class. These classes require about 10 hours of study per week and do not need to be taken for the entire duration of stay.
