Bartending

Bartending is a really good way to make money, have fun and still be able to travel when you want. Drinking is part of the Australian lifestyle, and Aussies take their alcohol seriously. You have to be certified to tend bar in Sydney.

Ready to Serve?

There's no better way to meet and interact with the locals than tending bar at the corner pub. Drinking is part of the Australian lifestyle, but Aussies take their alcohol seriously.

To work around alcohol in New South Wales (where Sydney is) you must take and pass a course in responsible alcohol service. Outside of New South Wales, this certification is not required, but having it will definitely give you an edge over the competition when you are on the job hunt.

No Experience? Classes will make it legal for you to serve alcohol, take you through a two-day bartender “boot camp,” plus a responsible gaming services course that will soon be required to work at any casino in the country.

Have Skills? The certifications are available à la carte. Pick and choose the courses you need to make yourself the best candidate for the job. Want to be a barista or a server instead? 1-day classes are available for those skills too.
