Buuut! Did you know that the train passes available from Eurail are NOT available to European residents? This is discount student travel intended only for you! That said, you'll still find locals all over the trains - they just buy their tickets at the station.

So, here are the basics.... Eurail is an agreement between 25 rail companies across Europe to get you wherever you want to go.

Eurail offers 4 main passes, which you then customize. Buy a pass based on how many days you want to go, based on which countries you want to visit or both.
