Surfing instructors are needed all over the world. Get certified to surf instruct while in Australia and you can work anywhere you want. The lifestyle is unbeatable - work in the sunshine, hone your skills and enjoy your favorite sport.
Requirements for 4-week program:
- Reasonably strong swimmer and able to swim 400m front crawl
- Intermediate surfing skills, paddling out through white water and catching waves, able to turn right and left
Requirements for 6-week program:
- Reasonably strong swimmer and able to swim 400m front crawl
- No surfing skills necessary though it would help to know the basics
Training takes place at Manly, the first of Sydney's Northern Beaches, and on "surfari" up the New South Wales coast to Byron Bay.
