Scotland/Ireland

The 2009 World Traveler Internship ended with a big party that lasted 12 days - in Scotland and Ireland! Locals showed them around and made sure they had a great time and laughed their arse off! They discovered why people LOVE these countries. It's a great end to a great summer.

You'll fly to Edinburgh (pronounced Ed-in-bur-uh) where you'll have 2 days to get settled.

Edinburgh is the capital of Scotland and has a lot to see and experience. Walk the Royal Mile, picking up souvenirs from any of the great shops along the way. Check out the castle and drink  a pint or two!

Then, you'll head north to the Scottish Highlands for a 3-day adventure! You'll see castles, mountains, and lochs (lakes), and experience Scottish food and drink, like Haggis and whiskey.

From here, you're off to Dublin, Ireland, across the Irish Sea! You'll stay here for 2 days, enjoying Dublin Castle and all of the properly-poured Guinness you can handle. Then you'll join your group for a raucous 5-day adventure around the south and west coasts of this beautiful country.

This leg (Scotland and Ireland) of the World Traveler Internship will be full of energy and laughter - we can't wait to see the videos!
