These courses adhere to the standards of the Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI), the world leader in diver education. PADI's modular course structure is now available in 175 countries worldwide. Some classes are compulsory, as you progress to Divemaster, Open Water Scuba Instructor and beyond. Others are optional 'specialty' courses, designed to complement your diver training and add depth to your basic education.
Divemaster/Dive Instructor Fast-track (5 weeks) - Eligibility:
- PADI Rescue Diver certification (or equivalent) with 70 logged dives, having qualified at entry level 5 months prior to arrival in Australia. Bring PADI Rescue Diver publications and training aids.
Dive Instructor Basic Traineeship (13 weeks) - Eligibility:
- PADI Open Water Diver certification or possess entry-level equivalent certificate for 3 months, 30 logged dives.
