There are two types of Global Passes available:
- Consecutive: travel a set number of days in a row
- Flexi: travel a certain number of days within an allowed period
The Eurail Global Pass Consecutive
This pass is ideal for travelers that want to explore all of Europe with the freedom to travel on any day during your journey.
Once you validate your consecutive pass in Europe, you can travel every day for the validity of your pass. For example, if you start a 21-day pass on July 1, you can ride the rails as many days as you want till July 21.

The Eurail Global Pass Flexi
The Eurail Global Pass Flexi allows traveler to travel 10 or 15 days over a 2 month period.
Once you validate your Global Pass Flexi in Europe, you can travel any 10 or 15 days over the two month period. For example, if you start a 15-day pass on July 1, you can ride the rails any 15 days before August 31.
This pass is ideal for travelers who have a set itinerary, or want to see spend more time in each city. This pass is also great for summer and semester abroad programs that allow weekend travel.
