This hostel is in such a good location, really easy to find.
As we were there on a friday we managed to go on their free walk from bondi to bronte and they provided a BBQ at the end! Such an easy way to see more of the surrounding area without spending a penny, also meant we made some new friends because of it. Go to Paddys Market for bargains :D

Location! Just 5 mins walk to Darling Harbour one way, chinatown another way and nice cafes round the corners.

this is my opinion on base x sydney, i was very pleased with the facilities the staff were very helpfull an it was very secure and in a gud location.

In general, I've always had good experiences with Base. The staff is great and very helpful, the rooms are clean and roomy, and they make the stay enjoyable. The price is very reasonable which is always a plus. At Base Sydney, we stayed in the Women's Sanctuary which was fabulous. It's so nice being provided with a towel when traveling. It also feels even safer being behind another locked door, but the whole place felt secure.

The location - it's pretty much the centre and is a walk away from the opera house, harbour bridge, Botannic Gardens etc. Although it wasn't perfect in terms of cleanliness or facilities it was still great. There was a great bar next door called 'Scary Canary' which was really good!

Absolutly heaving place with people comming and going all the time!
Located in a really convenient location not far from most of the main Sydney attractions.
Staff were really friendly, we asked them several times for the nearest ... and were directed to the nearest and cheapest places.
Communal shower rooms were perfectly large enough to accomodate the whole floor, with a large mirror and sockets, 4 showers and 4 toilets. There was a male and female bathroom so this would be x2 for the floor.

If all you are looking for is a cheap bed for the night then this is for you, but if you want something with some comfort then stay away.
