Location, the same as many previous stays tho, now, the basic rooms are very poor.

Die Lage des Hostels ist perfekt, in ca. 10 Minuten bist du am Times Square, zum Central Park sind es gerade mal 3 Minuten. Auch die Sicherheitsmassnahmen (bei jeder Rückkehr ins Hostel muss man seinen Zimmerschlüssel vorweisen) sind ok, da unerwünschte "Besucher" so gar nicht erst hineinkommen. Der Typ, der uns den Transfer zum Flughafen verschafft hat, war super!:D

Top location near Columbus Circle subway station, easy to reach from JFK Airport (just stick to subway route C), 10 min walk from Columbus Circle to YMCA Westside. 5min walk to Central Park, many good bars and restaurants nearby, shopping also not far away.

LEAVING, the worst hostel I've ever stayed at! The staff were terribly rude and unhelpful, it had sanitarium-style rooms, a security-coded female bathroom door that wouldn't close, 60+ year old men walking around in nothing but a towel while smoking, terrible bedding, non-functional tellie, lots of people using the elevators because a community pool and gym was on the floors below AND nowhere to relax outside of the terrible rooms and bad internet access. Being close to Central Park was the only positive thing.

Sicheres Hostel (es ist immer Security da) 3 Blocks vom Columbus Circle und 3 Gehminuten vom Centralpark entfernt! Nur leider müssen sie bei den Gemeinschaftsbädern in Sachen Ausstattung und Sauberkeit noch nachbessern! Für meine vier Tage noch ok, aber nicht für länger!
