The breakfast bread is amazing. The staff are nice, if somewhat drunk and disorderly. This is the place to be if you want to party all night every night, but avoid it if you want sleep, or have places you want to see around Cusco.

The Point Hostel had a very relaxed atmosphere - you could get involved with the Hostel's social activities as much or as little as you wanted without feeling pressured. They were great at putting on events to get you talking with the other guests, such as dinners and BBQs, games nights and dance lessons. The bar was really relaxed, and stayed open as long as you wanted! Good cheap food as well if you wanted to save a few soles, and free tea and coffee and rolls in the morning - always a nice thing to wake up to. The hostel is a couple of minutes from the main square, so you never had trouble getting home late if you'd been out to sample the local Peruvian discoteques! Another good thing was the tourist info desk which could book activities and tours for you (I recommend the white water rafting - it's led by an ex-marine!)
