Being the only English speaker at the hotel, the man at reception tried very hard to understand my english and me his Spanish. He was my only godsend in a place where it was recommended I did not leave my hotel room because this was the unsafest place in Santiago. Great big room with good tv reception.

It was cheap and clean. The breakfast was pretty good. Most of the staff were friendly and one in particulr was very helpful.
