The hostel had the bare essentials a youth hostel should be equipped with such as bed sheets and clean toilets however the showers operated by pressing a button every half a minute or so which was an experience. The bunk beds in the room for 6 provided a nice atmosphere for the group I was staying with.

The outside garden and patio were really beautiful and tranquil. A great place to share a beer with new friends.

This hostel is best suited for backpackers. The rooms are very tiny, the beds are very tiny and there is no elevator. Lugging my suitcase up 3 flights of stairs was less than desirable. Also the wifi is rather expensive (2 euro for an hour). The bar is very well stocked and pretty cheap for the beer quality. This won't be my first choice of accommodations when I go back to Brussels but, its an option.
