The location was good, a slightly queiter area near to the race course but still within walking distance of main areas and the hotel offered a free shuttle bus service, the staff were very helpful. Upgraded the room for a city view and breakfast. The room was a pretty good size with a large bed, comfortable. The city view was great for our first time visit to the city. the upgrade was worthwhile.

Stayed here for 10 nights as part of my 21st birthday present. Staff very friendly and accomodating. Within seconds of a courtesy phone call to the room to ask if we had everything we needed, there was a knock on the door with the extra pillows we had asked for. Fridge stocked with your usual minibar delights in the room but we just moved stuff out the fridge so we could put our own food and drinks in it, just put it all back in on the last day so no charge. Plus you get 2 bottles of water a day in the room, which you will need due to the heat, so it was good to be able to have chilled drinks. People have commented that the location is a bit out of the way but it was great for us. A walk up the hill and down a set of stairs and your in Wan Chai; through the undepass (not creepy like the ones in the UK) at the bottom of the hill and a 5 minute walk and your at Times Square and head for all other locations or if you cant be bothered to walk, the Cosopolitan next door has a shuttle bus. Plus when you want to sleep or need to sleep off the hangover you dont have the noise from the busy parts fo the island. For two 21 year olds in a big city, it was very safe, we walked home most nights/mornings ourselves and never had any bother at all. The rooms are colour coded and we had an orange standard room, the room itself is not orange but some of the furnishings were orange, e.g. headboard, chair and some bathroom tiles etc. Room was small compared to other hotel rooms in the States or even back home but thats common for Hong Kong. Hotel bar is ok but nothing special.
