This is a nice hotel that is safe, clean and pretty chilled. The food in the restaurant was good, especially breakfast. It is close enough to Haad Rin beach to walk there at night and stumble home in the morning!
My only complaints are: mosquitos everywhere (which if your not careful get into your room) and occassional lack of towels. Also, we paid over the odds by booking from the uk, as guests we met there paid considerably less than us.
On the whole, decent enough though.

For those going to Koh Phangan to party, the general pattern in Haad Rin is party and night, sleep till the afternoon, and then hit the beach before partying again. So Accomodation is very important when you are feeling a little sore and sorry for yourself. Phanganburi have nice warm showers, comfty beds, and cable tv for the days when you can't do much else other than lie in bed. Its an easy 5 minute walk from the party beach but far enough away to get some much needed peace and quiet. I highly recommend it!
