Location was very good, close to the blanche metro station (Paris' underground Rail) and some very nice reasonably priced restaurants and bars. Hotel was good with some friendly and helpful front desk staff. Montmartre is the heart of the red light district of Paris, this becomes very obvious as you walk around a bit. The atmosphere, however, was lively and the very pleasant eatarys and bistros were full of friendly locals and tourists a-like.

Sta Travel Glenferrie branch Travel Adviser Jeff King recommended this hotel and I paid 3 nights stay total A$414 before I travelled to Europe/Russia on 4 Aug. Later your London office advised this hotel was fully booked and no room for my 3-nights stay 13-16 Sept but this info. never reached to me. I arrived Paris 13 Sept at 9:30pm to that hotel, only found there was no any room for me. This hotel located in Moulin Rouge area full of sex shops. I wandered around streat at 10pm trying to find the hotel rooms around that area but in vain. To the end, the hotel staff (a gentleman) helped me to find 1 room for that night only in walking distance (that was the best thing about my 'stay'). I had to find 2 nights accormodation next morning which wasted a lot of my time for a 3-day stay in Paris. I came back to ask for refund A$414 together with the compansation for more expensive hotel rate plus taxi fees (the hotel I found was 1 hour trafic away from Paris), up to today, I have not received any money back - really not happy ! Die Lage war wirklich gut. Nur wenige gehminuten vom Zentrum montmartres mit all den kleinen caffee. Auch das Sacre Coer war gleich ums eck. Fast gegenüber war das Moulin Rouge und viele Fast Food Ketten, wenn man doch mal hunger auf was schnelles hatte. Irritierend war am Anfang nur, dass sich das Hotel zwischen lauter Sex Shops befindet, was aber nur zur eher creativen und alternativen szene rum um das Hotel beigetragen hat. Negativ anzumerken ist nur, dass das Bad relativ klein war, es keinen Kühlschrank und keine Klimaanlage gab. Paris im Sommer (bis 40grad) in dem Hotel also nicht zu empfehlen.

Die Lage des Hotels war super und sehr freundliches Personal.
