The location was the reason i stayed and it sure did deliver. Central to all major attractions. Rooms were a little small but if the reason your going to Rome is to sightsee and have fun this is a great spot.

Hotel Seiler is located in the heart of Rome with easy walking access to main attractions, public transport, restaurants and the train station. While not all staff speak English, the rooms are basic and breakfast is simple, the location of this hotel definitely makes up for this. If you are looking for somewhere cheap but easily accessible Hotel Seiler is defiantly a good choice.

It was close to the station and very secure and they had a free map (which wasn't all that great).

The location of the hotel was good and it was easy to get around. I had a room in the dungeon and it smelt musty and did not have much light.

Horrible Hotel. Room window would not lock and constantly found my room door unlocked

Don't be fooled by the outside of this building. Hotel Seiler was a dive at best. Hostels would be a better option. I was welcomed by a man who barely spoke English or Italian. He led me into a horrible shoebox that smelt bad and felt and looked dirty. All I wanted was somewhere to store my bags and sleep, so I was not initially concerned. What did concern me though was the fact that my window would not lock or shut properly, and that on 3 occasions my room was left unlocked by presumably staff who had been into my room for no apparent reason. My bags would be left in different positions but the beds and bathroom had not been touched. I was rather happy to leave this place.
