How we do it better! The STA difference...

Our partner G Adventures is the single largest tour operator on the Inca Trail, helping over 10,000 travellers trek the Inca Trail every year!

Experts will make you discover the wonderful landscapes and history of the Inca civilisation! All tours are led by experienced and skilled staff recruited from local communities and employed by G Adventures. Every trip is managed and equipped from their dedicated base in Cuzco. All guides, porters, support staff and cooks work under the region’s best employment conditions and are fairly compensated for their efforts.

On all our trips you will meet the women of the Sacred Valley and learn about the stages of the weaving process that’s been handed down to them through generations. The project supports the women of the Sacred Valley and preserves the local weaving tradition handed down by generations.

You will be treated only with fresh and locally sourced ingredients. Our high-quality tents and camping gear are set up and maintained by our support staff, freeing you up to get the most out of your experience.

Book Early!
As a way to preserve the ancient trail, the Peruvian Government has strict regulations as to the number of travellers that can hike the trail per year and each passenger is issued a government permit; this prevents undocumented trekkers hiking the trail. Because of this limitation, we advise booking a minimum three months in advance and up to six months in peak times to ensure you secure your place.

Can I obtain my own Inca Trail permit?
Only tour operators like G Adventures can acquire permits. Tour operators are subject to thorough annual inspections by the government agencies that govern the Inca Trail.
