As a Branch Manager, you will actively motivate and develop your own sales team, network with local schools and businesses within the community, create and deliver exciting presentations, and host events to establish and build your business.This is a great opportunity to utilize your skills and develop your career as a business manager.

• LOVES selling and has an excellent track record with closing sales opportunities

• LOVES travel – 1 to 3 years of selling travel or 3-4 years of retail experience with a branded retailer (Gap, Starbucks, REI, etc.)

• Has an interest in visual merchandising and retail management

What’s It Like Being a Travel Advisor?

Selling travel will be your main focus, and to make the sale you will spend a lot of time with your travelers understanding their travel needs and looking for suitable solutions. You should be self-motivated, coachable, computer savvy, and passionate. Your day will likely be busy and varied. Customer service is important to us: you should be willing to go the extra mile for your travelers, such as researching a particular destination or product so that you can provide the best possible value to your traveler.
About Our Customers

Our customers are mostly student and youth travelers who have one eye on their wallets and the other on how far off the beaten track they can go. These people are adventurous, insightful, and confident travelers. Travel Advisors with a strong knowledge of geography, personal travel experience, and exposure to various cultures and languages best serve our target market.
STA Travel Work Locations

Our retail travel network spans the globe with over 450 locations worldwide. In North America, there are job opportunities in almost every major city and/or college town, such as New York, Boston, Chicago, Seattle, Los Angeles, San Diego, or Washington, D.C. You can also join our National Call Center team in the college town of Tempe, Arizona where you will provide travel expertise to hundreds of young travelers.
What We Look For

The ideal applicant is passionate about travel and thrives in a sales and customer service environment. Advisor opportunities are entry level, meaning you learn on the job! No previous industry experience is required. However, we do require massive enthusiasm, loads of commitment, a desire to learn new things, a can-do attitude, and, ideally, some study abroad or travel experience!
