Standard Paper Ticket

CHANGING THE TRAVEL DATE

  • Changes can usually be made within the validity of the ticket. To view the validity of your ticket, look for the date in the Not Valid After (‘NVA’) box for the flight you want to change. If your new date is prior to this date, you might be able to change your travel date. Also, take a look at the restrictions/endorsements box at the top of your ticket. This may have additional information such as “CHANGES NOT PERMITTED” or "TRAVEL MON-WED ONLY." These types of endorsement will usually mean that your ticket cannot be changed or may only be changed as indicated.
  • To make changes or to see if your ticket can be changed, please contact your nearest Travel Help branch, and they will be able to offer further guidance. All changes are subject to flight availability. The fee charged for changing your date and amending your ticket is the equivalent of $35.

GETTING A REFUND

Refunds can only be assessed and processed by the STA Travel division from which your ticket was purchased. To obtain a refund, you will need to send your ticket to the original office of purchase and ask for them to assess your ticket for a refund. The issuing office will process any monies that are due.

LOST TICKETS

In the event of lost or stolen tickets, contact your nearest Travel Help location. You will need to provide them with the following information:

  • Location of original ticket purchase
  • Date of purchase
  • Name of Traveler
  • Airline
  • Routing/Itinerary
  • Ticket number or copy of ticket if you have it

The Travel Help staff will then contact the STA Travel location where your ticket was issued for authorization to reissue the ticket. This process will take approximately 24-48 hours and you will be charged a fee equivalent to US $50.
