What will I be doing?
You’ll be working with polo cross horses, or cotton picking and harvesting. This is ideal for the dirty hands out there and fresh-faced agricultural newbies alike, grassroots farm training over the course of seven or ten days in rural Australia will equip you with some incredible skills; allowing you to seek work on just about any farm throughout the country. Don’t be fooled though, the courses are hard and you will muck in and earn the odd callus along the way. But on passing the course (Silver & Gold), newly qualified souls will be let loose to continue traveling and working farms Down Under and the best bit - many jobs count towards gaining a second year visa.

Am I eligible?
To do the basic farmstay package there are no eligibility requirements, however if you are looking to secure work from the Gold or Silver packages then you must:
• Be aged 18-30 inclusive at the time of application
• Be a U.S. citizen and passport holder
• Be a high school graduate

Employment information
The Gold and Silver packages both come with job offers at the end of successful course completion. The job offers may range depending on region. But you can roughly expect to earn AU$15-17 per hour as a station hand and generally speaking station hand positions come with accommodation.
