		Fluent languages: English Favorite Destination: Aahhh, I can't just pick one! Various places have different aspects that make them uniquely intriguing and uniquely their own! If I had to pick a few, I'd start here: Thailand, Bali and Italy are currently at the top of my list! Destination Specialties: Southeast Asia, specifically Thailand as well as Indonesia. Central America, specifically Costa Rica. Personal Travel Tip: PACK LIGHT. You can always purchase things abroad and in many cases for much cheaper than you can purchase them at home. Also, learn at least a few very basic conversational phrases in that region's language; such as hello, how are you, how much, yes, no, thank you, goodbye, where is, excuse me/sorry, etc. Be open to new and exciting experiences! I never leave the country without: Scarves are great not only for bundling up on a plane but are also handy when used to cover yourself in more humble countries. They are a cute as well as less flashy accessory and great alternative to jewelry while abroad! Why do I love my job/travel: I think travel is essential in educating one's self on a global level. There is so much to be learned outside our borders and it's crucial in becoming a more aware, understanding, knowledgegable person. Not to mention, it's the most exciting interest in my life and I love to be able to help others pursue their passion for traveling and evolving! …cheesy, but all too true!

		Fluent languages: English and Spanglish Favorite Destination: Only one?! Not possible! London, New Zealand, Spain, Croatia, Jekyll Island, to name a few... Destination Specialties: Western Europe, Inca Trail, Round-the-World trips Personal Travel Tip: When you first arrive overseas or in a new city, go for a run/jog/walk to shake off the grogginess and get your blood pumping again. It will help you fight off the jet-lag and let you explore the area around your hotel/hostel. I never leave the country without: At least a couple pashminas/scarves/wraps…they're perfect to use to cover up for warmth or modesty, as a pillow or blanket on a plane/train/bus, to dress up a casual outfit, and to cushion valuables in your suitcase. Why do I love my job/travel: I love my job because it is dynamic and challenging, allows me to be creative, and puts new people in my path every day. And let's not forget, my job allows and encourages me to travel. A lot. I love traveling for all the obvious reasons (meeting new people, learning to enjoy new cultures/food/music/landscapes, escaping the "real world," pushing myself out of my comfort zone, etc). But more than that, traveling gives me a fresh perspective on life/the world and repeatedly reminds me that in spite of the cultural differences, the language barriers, the economic disparity, etc, at the heart of it all, we are essentially the same. It's so easy to get caught up in ourselves and to focus on the ways we're so different from one another. Traveling allows me to see how others live life and work toward the goals that are universal: to know you matter, to feel useful, to provide for and protect home and family, to watch loved ones flourish, and to share life with others.

Asia, and Peru Personal Travel Tip: I love learning languages and I think it is very important to know a few basic words of the country's language you are visiting. Podcasts are great to learn on the go and can also give you insight into the country you are visiting. I never leave the country without: My journal and camera. I love to document all the places I go and all the people I meet! I also MUST have my iPod and a new book to enjoy during my flights, bus, car, and train rides. Music always brings back awesome memories from my travels. Why do I love my job/travel: I love my job because I enjoy helping my clients plan their journeys around the world! I like to make the planning process as stress-free and as fun as possible. Some of my favorite clients to work with are students you are going abroad for the first time. I studied abroad in Madrid and I remember all the questions, concerns, and excitement I had. I want the students to know I will be there to help them and that they are going to have a life changing experience. I love traveling because I love learning about other cultures, learning new languages, meeting new people, and trying new foods. I grow from each trip I take and I am so eager to see what else the world has to offer.
