Day 1-7 Beijing / Chengde / Jinshanling / Datong

Kick start your awesome adventure in the city of Beijing. Tour the Forbidden City, absorb the sights and sample the many flavours whilst you're here. You'll then be off to the Imperial Summer Resort at Chengde. Be prepared to be blown-away by the spectacular Great Wall of China at Jinshanling before you're off to your next stop, the Hanging Monastery of Datong and the incredible Yungang Caves.

Day 8-18 Wutai Shan / Pingyao / Lijiashan / Xi'an

Set off into the mountains today to explore the stunning Five Terrace Mountains. Breathe in the fresh mountain air and whip out your camera to capture a few stunning shots to email home! You'll then be off to the ancient walled town of Pingyao for a wander. Spend the night in a cave in the ancient village of Lijiashan, famous for its brilliant cave dwellings. Xi'an is your next stop where you'll get the chance to soak up the culture in the many pagodas and temples before visiting the world-famous Terracotta Warriors - bound to leave you awe-struck.

Day 19-30 Wudang Shan / Yangtze River / Chengdu / Emei Shan

It's back to the mountains to the awesome mountain reserve of Wudang Shan famous for the well-known ‘Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon'. Meander along the stunning Yangtze River for a three-night cruise through the famous Three Gorges. On Day 27, treat your tastebuds to some fiery Sichuan cuisine. The question is, how hot can you handle? Head to the Giant Panda Breeding Centre to get up close to the gorgeous pandas and their adorable cubs for an unforgettable experience. Next, grab your boots and head off into the holiest mountain in China, the lush Emei Shan.

Day 31-42 Lijiang / Dali / Kunming

Brush up on your knowledge and learn about the Naxi culture at Lijiang. If you fancy engaging in some inspirational trekking, why not take the optional trek in the dramatic Tiger Leaping Gorge, where you'll really feel as though you've escaped reality? Meet the minority Bai people at the picturesque lakeside town of Dali then explore Yunan's chilled-out capital Kunming.

Day 43-47 Shan State / Mandalay

Crossing into Burma, set off for another refreshing hike amongst the remote Shan villages in the highlands. Drive on to the legendary sights and sounds of the old royal capital of Mandalay.

Day 48-55 Irrawaddy River / Bagan / Inle Lake

Once you arrive at the Irrawaddy River, jump on board a cruise and glide down the river watching the local life pass by. You'll then get the opportunity to tour the astonishing temple site at Bagan so make sure you have your camera handy for some picture-perfect snaps. In the sweltering heat, you'll want to cool-down so make sure you spare time for a trip to the hill station of Kalaw and the beautiful Inle Lake where you'll find floating villages and its famous leg-rowing fishermen.

Day 56-64 Yangon / Mt Kyaiktiyo / Bangkok

Spend the last part of your trip making the most of these incredible countries. Browse the enchanting morning market of Bago for any hidden treasures that'll make fab souvenirs before travelling to the capital of Yangon with its legendary Shwedagon Pagoda. You'll then get to enjoy a pilgrimage to one of Burma's most spectacular and iconic sites, the shrine of Mt Kyaiktiyo, also known as the Golden Rock. On the final leg of your journey, you'll find yourself crossing over the Thai border. Prepare yourself for a touching and poignant experience with a visit to the Bridge over the River Kwai at Kanchanaburi, before you head over to the bustling capital of Bangkok.
