Introduction

In the midst of the "Greatest wildlife show in Africa", help preserve the balance between the local Masai communities, and the endangered species in the area. You will be involved in exciting conservation and wildlife research activities in a new and spectacular Masai Mara conservancy area! Make an impact by promoting the "Green Villages" sustainable conservation concept in surrounding Masai communities! You will also be assisting at the Koiyaki Guiding School to train up local Masai guides to promote sustainable tourism in the area. The Masai Mara is quite possibly Africa's finest safari destination and volunteers will assist with the monitoring of lion, leopard and cheetah populations. Volunteers also have the unique experience of working at a Guide Training School and camp, that provides training to local Masai so that they can gain employment in tourism. The School has a wide range of programs, from Environment and Wildlife Management to photography and cultural history. During the school year, volunteers will also run an environment club with young students at a local primary school.
