Day 1 Amman

Arrive at Queen Alia International airport at any time and take your included transfer to the hotel. Feel free to explore this diverse city today. If you wish to catch a glimpse of a modern Arab city, you came to the right place. Amman is a fascinating city of contrasts and an exceptional blend of old and new, ideally situated on a hilly area between the desert and the lush Jordan Valley.

Day 2 Amman / Jerash / Ajloun Castle

This morning will take you north from the capital and on to one of Jordan's major attractions, the ancient city of Jerash. The local guide will show you around the very well preserved Greco-Roman ruins that are said to still have the power to evoke the ghosts of Rome. Definitely one not to miss! Later today you will visit the towering Ajloun Castle, a strategic stronghold for the Arabs during the Crusades before returning to Amman in the evening.

Day 3 Madaba / Mount Nebo / Mujeb Valley / Karak / Petra

Rise for a day of exploring, starting with a journey to the laid-back town of Madaba, best known for its spectacular and historically significant Byzantine mosaics. From here, continue onto Mt. Nebo, where Moses is said to have seen the ‘Promised Land'. You will then visit Mujeb Valley and stop at the striking castle of Karak before continuing to the ‘Rose City' of Petra.

Day 4 Petra

This city is the kind of place that must be seen to be believed. You'll have a full day to appreciate this wonder of the world and Jordan's most valuable treasure. Your local giude will make Petra come to life as you explore this awesome city and its many wonders.

Day 5 Wadi Rum

This morning, head off to the desert stopping first at ‘Little Petra' to enjoy the atmosphere and stillness of the site. Now it is time to jump off the minibus and onto a 4x4 Jeep for an unforgettable excursion of Wadi Rum. This is a real highlight of the trip, offering some of the most extraordinary desert scenery you could ever imagine. Tonight, you will stay in a desert camp and enjoy an amazing dinner with your group.

Day 6-7 Dead Sea / Jerusalem

Head for the western side of Jordan to the Dead Sea; the lowest point on earth and with such high salinity that you can just float about on the surface like a cork. Enjoy free time to swim and relax before crossing the border at Sheikh Hussein Bridge. Meet your Israeli driver for a transfer to the spiritual centre of Jerusalem, an ancient city that will leave you speechless as you visit the Wailing Wall, Aqsa Mosque and Dome of the Rock. Continue across the Muslim Quarter to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and Golgotha, where Jesus was crucified. Journey through the Jewish and Armenian quarters and finish your day enjoying the markets, museums and nightlife.

Day 8-9 Jerusalem / Amman

First up this morning, visit the Mount of Olives for a famous view over the city to the Temple Mount and then continue to the Garden of Gethsemane and the Church of all Nations. Journey on to Mount Zion for the Last Supper Room and the Tomb of King David. Departing Jerusalem, you will travel to Bethlehem, birthplace of Jesus, before heading back to Amman. En-route stop in Jericho, one of the oldest inhabited cities in the world. After breakfast on Day 9, an included airport transfer marks the end of your incredible trip.
