Day 1 - airport pick up at BKK (not Don Muang) between 06:00 and 22:00, transfer to accommodation on Khao San road (twin room, air con)
Day 2 - orientation followed by walking tour of BKK (including Wat Pho, Wat Arun, canal boat tour and The Grand Palace - entry is optional and costs 500THB as of May 2014). B'fast included. Overnight in same accommodation on Khao San Road
Day 3 - transfer to Surin (around 10am) by train or coach - accompanied by Surin team member. Transfer to volunteer house in Surin Town - shared rooms, fan cooled, shared bathroom, kitchen area, living area. Local orientation.
Day 4 - transfer early morning (around 8am) to the elephant village with our elephant village staff member. Elephant activities. Stay in local homestay (basic but clean and safe) in shared rooms with fans. Toilets are Asian style with cold water only showers. Lunch and dinner included.

Day 7 - AM elephant activities. Mid afternoon transfer to Surin Town volunteer house. B'fast and lunch included. Overnight at Surin volunteer house
Day 8 - Free day in Surin to rest / explore. Accommodation at the volunteer house
Day 9 - transfer to Bangkok (coach or train) arranged by our team (but the travel is unguided). Customers make their own way to accommodation on Khao San Road (accommodation included) and will be met by one of our team members from Sangkhlaburi for the next part of the trip. Overnight in Khao San Road accommodation
Day 10 - transfer to Sangkhlaburi by minibus taking between 5-7 hours depending on traffic etc. Check into Sangkhlaburi accommodation - volunteer house with shared fan rooms, shared bathrooms (western style), kitchen area and living area. Local orientation on arrival
Day 11-15 - building project. Customer picked up each morning around 07:00 and transported to the building ‘site'. All equipment and training is provided and work is supervised and directed by our local team. Days are usually from 07:00 - 12:00 / 13:00 to avoid the worst heat of the day and ensure people don't ‘over work'
Day 16 - unguided transfer back to Bangkok and customers make their own way to Khao San Road accommodation (booked and paid for)
Day 17 - Prior to leaving Sangkhlaburi all customers will have been given their tickets for travel to Koh Phangan on day 17. After a free day to explore Bangkok, customers take the overnight coach and ferry to Koh Phangan (unguided) arriving on the morning of day 18.
Day 18 - arrive Koh Phangan and transfer to the accommodation (customers will be met by guest house representative). Shared twin rooms, fan, en suite.
Days 19-27 - free time to enjoy Koh Phangan, the beach and the parties.
Day 28 - morning transfer from Koh Phangan to Bangkok arriving mid / late evening in BKK. Final night at accommodation on Khao San Road
Day 29 - Check out and end
