Day 2 Kata Tjuta / Kings Canyon

Get up early as you won't want to miss the spectacular Uluru sunrise. After breakfast, take a short drive to the landform known as Kata Tjuta (the Olgas), 36 rock domes rising out of the desert plain in the Northern Territory of Australia. Hike through the dry creek beds, domes and beautiful wilderness of the Valley of the Winds. After lunch, it's on to your campsite on Kings Creek Station, a traditional working cattle farm. You'll feel like a regular cowboy!

Day 3-4 Alice Springs

Take a morning walk to see the towering walls, crevices and plateaus of Kings Canyon and fit in some time to see the amazing Amphitheatre, Lost City and the Garden of Eden, where you can go for a swim to cool off. After lunch it's on to Alice Springs, arriving at your accommodation in the late afternoon. On Day 4, you have the day to explore Alice Springs on your own.

Day 5 Banka Banka Cattle station

Be ready for an early morning - you'll be picked up at 6am and will head out towards Darwin. Pass through the Tropic of Capricorn, Devils Marbles, a collection of gigantic granite boulders balanced on top of one another, and then Banka Banka cattle station, where you'll set up camp.

Day 6 Katherine

Don't' miss out on a trip to the Daly Waters pub - you'll get a cold beer and a bit of a history lesson (it was once an important spot for explorers back in the day). Later, go for a soak in the Mataranka thermal pools, a lush oasis surrounded by paperbark trees, before making your way to Katherine to set up camp for the night.

Day 7 Nitmiluk National Park / Darwin

Take a short drive to the Nitmiluk National park, owned by the Jawoyn Aboriginal people. Boasting a picturesque gorge, float down the river on an optional boat cruise or paddle a canoe, depending on how active you want to be. In the afternoon, it's back on the bus watching the amazing landscapes pass you by on the way to cosmopolitan Darwin.

Day 8 Kakadu National Park

Your first stop today is the Mary River wetlands, renowned for its 250 bird species and saltwater crocodiles that call it home (the highest concentration in the southern hemisphere!). It's safe to say you'll get some good animal spotting as you cruise along the Mary River! Stop off at South Alligator river for lunch before making your way to Ubirr where you can see a wide range of Aboriginal arts and crafts. Next, climb the Nadab lookout for stunning views of the surrounding floodplain and Arnhern Land before eating dinner and camping at Cooinda.

Day 9 Litchfield National Park

Swim the morning away at Gunlom Falls and relax in a natural infinity pool with a grand view of the Arnhern Land escarpment - you'll be a prune by the time you're forced to get out. Take one final dip in the lower plunge pool before leaving the national park via Batchelor to an overnight campsite near Litchfield National Park.

Day 10 Darwin

Today is all about exploring the waterfalls, spring-fed streams and rugged sandstone escarpments of Litchfield National Park. Explore the large magnetic and cathedral termite mounds and hike and swim in Wangi Falls and Buley Rockhole before heading back to Darwin for the evening - it's guaranteed to be a fun-filled last day! Please note this 10-day package is a combination of three safari products and the guide and passengers may differ on each safari. Passengers will be staying independently at the accommodation between each of the safaris.
