Restaurants and bars cater to all tastes and budgets.
Day 2 - 14 Volunteering in Delhi
Our project partner runs five 24-hour full care shelters for children, one being devoted to girls. These shelters provide the children security, a sense of home, and an opportunity to receive all the critical inputs of childhood. One of the types of educations provided is non-formal education that not only deals with everyday subjects like maths, reading and writing, but also focuses on skills like cooperation, teamwork, sharing, time management, self awareness, and creative thinking. During Two weeks at the project, all volunteers are welcomed to share their knowledge, experience and enthusiasm. There is a number of projects where you can be involved - tutoring school subjects, providing help to medical personnel (if you have medical qualification), helping to organize everyday activities of children and project community, help with project's buildings maintenance, etc. If you don't feel comfortable teaching, there are many other projects where you can take part, for example, assist with project documentation, marketing and communication.
