1 days

Depart Melbourne at 11.30am from meeting point for our journey to Phillip Island. Our first stop is the Koala Conservation Centre. View Koalas in their natural habitat and stroll through bush land at this environmentally sustainable centre dedicated to koala conservation. Learn about the lives of our local wildlife as we walk along local tracks looking out for wallabies, echidnas, birds and other wildlife. Afterwards visit Nobbies board walk for spectacular views across Phillip Island`s rugged coastlines and watch seals play in the surround waters from special observation cameras. The afternoon finishes with an opportunity to assist Rangers with wildlife conservation activities, building nest boxes to provide homes for Australian animals. No experience is necessary to participate in this activity and our Conservation Volunteer Australia team leader will show you how to use required tools and equipment. After this rewarding activity watch Little Penguins coming to shore at the penguin parade. Our expected return time to Melbourne is approximately 8.30pm in winter and 11.00pm in summer.
