The ultimate all-Ireland St Patrick’s extravaganza! See Ireland at its best – North and South. We begin by heading south to kiss the Blarney Stone, dance in Killarney, discover Galway and hang out over the Cliffs of Moher. Then it's north to explore Belfast and the amazing Giant’s Causeway. And there's still more - we return to Dublin for some serious Festival fun, mad partying and the Parade! One island, one week, a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
  • Day 1: Arrive in Dublin

You can check-in to your city-centre hostel anytime and start to explore our vibrant capital. Check out the Ceili on the Green to get warmed up for some proper Irish dancing. This evening there’s a pre-tour meet up where you can meet the rest of your trip mates and the Shamrocker crew who will answer questions you may have.

  • Day 2: Dublin’s Fair City

Take a trip around the Guinness Storehouse and discover all there is to know about the black stuff. After a walking tour through the sights and streets of Dublin there’s the chance to enjoy the music and dancing at all the festival events. This evening join us for the Shamrocker St. Patrick’s Party.

  • Day 3: St. Patrick's Day

Today is the day you've been waiting for - St. Patrick's Day! Grab your spot early as the streets of Dublin fill fast. Get ready to have your senses bombarded with colour, music and scenes you will not forget. Then it's time to head to the pub for a live music session. This is St. Patrick’s Day done by the Irish on their native soil… expect a wild one!

  • Day 4: Dublin to Killarney

We leave the city and head south west into the lush green Irish countryside. We pass the River Liffey on the way to the imposing Rock of Cashel, once the seat of the Kings of Munster then through the Golden Vale to Blarney Castle in the rebel county of Cork. Now is your chance to give the stone a big juicy smacker to get the legendary ‘gift of the gab’. You will now realise your Guide has kissed the stone many, many times…Tonight is in the party town of Killarney.

  • Day 5: Killarney to Ennis

Today it’s all about breathtaking scenery and adventure. We spend the day exploring the dramatic Dingle Peninsula and we take you to the edge of the ancient world…We stop at the stunning Coumeennole Beach then on through Tralee until we cross the mighty Shannon River to County Clare. We spend the night in Ennis where the pubs are filled with locals playing traditional Irish music.

  • Day 6: Ennis to Galway

Hold on to your hats because today we’ll visit the awesome Cliffs of Moher rising hundreds of feet over the Atlantic Ocean. Vertigo sufferers beware! After lunch we’ll explore the weird and magical world of the Burren, Ireland’s lunar landscape and home to fairies and leprechauns! Hear the Celtic legends surrounding the ancient burial tombs, or dolmens. Our stop for the night is Galway, Ireland’s cultural capital and festival city.

  • Day 7: Galway to Derry

Today we make our way through the wild, rugged and rural Connemara. Then along the surfy coast of Co. Sligo to the resting place of world famous poet W.B. Yeats.  The medieval city of Derry will test your emotions as you are brought face to face with its troubled past on a walk through both past and present.

  • Day 8: Derry to Belfast

Today we follow in the footsteps of Giants on the eighth natural wonder of the world – The Giant’s Causeway. We’ll take you to the Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge * weather permitting where you can sway Indiana Jones’ style. Then it’s party time in the North’s vibrant capital Belfast.

  • Day 9: Belfast to Dublin

This morning take a Black Cab tour of Belfast City with a local at the wheel. You’ll visit the Loyalist and Republican heartlands, see the famous political murals and learn about the ‘Troubles’.
