7 days

Dotted with unspoiled islands, secluded beaches, and miles of coastal paths, the Dalmatian Coast remains one of Eastern Europe’s most beautiful destinations. Ideal for travellers looking to try a variety of things in an out-of-the-way place, this idyllic slice of Croatia along the surprisingly balmy Adriatic Sea is practically bursting with outdoorsy potential. Hike and bike the ruggedly beautiful rocky coastlines, paddle a sea kayak past uninhabited islands, or just laze about on the beach and let the time pass. The choice is yours, and the choices are infinite.
  • Day 1 Dubrovnik

You can arrive at any time on Day 1 as there are no activities planned. There will be a brief meeting in the evening where you will meet your CEO and fellow group members, as well as complete some admin and learn more about our trip to come. After the meeting, you may choose to join your CEO and group for an optional dinner in a local restaurant. Today is a good day to visit the Old Town of Dubrovnik if there is time. Overnight on Lapad Peninsula.

  • Day 2 Dubrovnik (1B)

Take a walking tour on the city's ancient walls – a trip to Dubrovnik isn't complete without doing this walk (2km/1.1 mi). See highlights along the way that include Fort Minceta, Fort St. John, Fort Lawrence, Fort Revelin, and St. Luke’s Tower. There are three main entrances to the city walls; the principal one is located by the Inner Pile Gates. Walk to the summit of Srdj Hill (512m/1,680 ft) for great views of the walled city below, and to visit Fort Imperial, which houses the Croatian War Museum. If the hike seems too much, opt to take the cable car – it provides transport up and back.

  • Day 3 Lopud Island/Dubrovnik (1B)

Hop on a ferry to Lopud Island for a full day of hiking the trails or swimming in the sea. Chill out on Lopud or explore some of the trails around the island.

  • Day 4 Dubrovnik (1B)

Dubrovnik was once a great city state, rivalling Venice for it's wealth and skill, and the walls of the city that remain provide an excellent reminder of the power once held within. Today, after a stroll to the Old Town, we head out on the waters of the Adriatic to get a different perspective on the city. After a safety briefing, head out around the coast and the city walls by kayak, on a route that circles the island of Lokrum, and along the imposing city walls. Be sure to test the water and be surprised by quite how warm it is.

  • Day 5 Konavle Valley/Dubrovnik (1B)

Inland from Dubrovnik the land is green and fertile, giving a good idea as to why this land would have been such a good location for a city state to spring up. After a short transfer from Dubrovnik to the Konavle Valley, where we pick up our bikes. Cycling along country track, between vineyards and watermills, there might even be time to stop at a vineyard and get to try some of the local wine. Croatian wine is becoming more popular across the world, and after a day on the bikes, there's no better way to unwind.

  • Day 6 Kolocep/Dubrovnik (1B)

The Dalmatian Coast is dotted with over a thousand islands, many of which are ideal locations to get away from the crowds. We head for Kolocep today, one of the three inhabited Elaphiti Islands. From the port at Dubrovnik, it's a short ferry ride across to Kolocep, where we can try snorkelling, trekking or, many people's favourite option, relaxing on the beach. Boat to Kolocep - 5km (approx. 20 minutes)

  • Day 7 Dubrovnik (1B)

You are free to depart at any time today. Please note that check-out time from the hotel is normally mid-morning, but luggage storage facilities are available. We are able to organise extra post-trip accommodation if you wish to extend your stay for a few more days. Please ask at the time of booking.
