Day 1: 30 December Departs 7.15am. It's time to get New Year underway and say goodbye to the Big Smoke as we leave London on our luxury coach and head north to Bonnie Scotland! We arrive in Edinburgh early evening and get straight on it, tonight it's our legendary ceilidh, a traditional Scottish dancing event, HAGGiS style! Day 2: New Year's Eve – Hogmanay We kick off the day celebrating the Aussie and Kiwi New Years with loads of excited Antipodeans! Party on as the celebrations continue around the globe or take the afternoon to explore the capital and the Winter Festival at your own pace. Head down to Princes' Street Gardens to the Winter Wonderland or find a pop up bar and try a local brew. Get ready for the main event, make sure you grab your Street Party ticket before heading to the best New Year celebration in the world! Don't forget, when the clock strikes 12 it's your chance to kiss everyone you can get your hands on and wish them Happy Hogmanay! Day 3: New Year's Day No doubt there will be a few sore heads this morning but what better cure for a hangover than a Loony Dook! For almost thirty years South Queensferry has played host to this insane event. Hundreds of, well... loonies, take to the freezing waters of the Firth of Forth, many of them in fancy dress and all of them up for a good time. This event helps to raise thousands of pounds for charity and with the impressive Forth Bridge in the background, this obscure tradition is an event not to be missed. After an optional 'refreshing' swim in the sea, we head back to the capital where you can join Edinburgh's Hogmanay official festivities or warm up with some glühwein at the winter markets. Tonight we have one final fling for those who are still up for it! Day 4: 2 January A last gasp of fresh Scottish air and a final glimpse of the beautiful city, we bid a fond farewell to Edinburgh as we take the coach back to London. Don't worry, we're confident you'll be back for more… Returns to London approximately 6pm.
