If you have two weeks to spare, there’s no better way to experience Colombia than to jump in with both feet and experience the national parks, beaches and cities firsthand. Plus, there’s no better place to be if you’re looking to try delicacies such as fresh seafood on the beaches of Cartagena and delicious coffee from the region of Calarcá. Be a part of the revitalization of this warm, welcoming country and come back with more stories than you’ll ever have time to tell.
  • Day 1 Bogotá

    Arrive at any time.

  • Day 2 Villa de Leyva (1B)

    Enjoy a local breakfast in Paloquemao market before driving to Villa de Leyva for an overnight. Stop en route to visit the Zipaquira Salt Cathedral.

  • Days 3-4 Armenia/Calarcá (Coffee Region) (2B,1L)

    Enjoy a morning in Villa de Leyva before an afternoon flight to Armenia, in Colombia's coffee region. On Day 4, enjoy a tour of a coffee farm in the Calarca area to learn more about the coffee culture here. Visit local villages in the region. Spend two nights outside Armenia in a traditional hacienda.

  • Day 5 Cocora Valley/Salento (1B)

    Stretch your legs with a morning hike through the Cocora Valley and afternoon arrival to Salento town. Here, you'll get the full coffee experience in the "triangulo" of Quindio.

  • Days 6-7 Medellin (2B)

    Drive through the stunning landscape to Medellin. Enjoy a neighbourhood tour of the city and learn the fascinating recent history of the city's ongoing transformation.

  • Days 8-10 Cartagena (3B)

    Hop a morning flight to Cartagena and arrive in time to spend the afternoon exploring the old walled city. Enjoy dinner on the beach and a night out in this lively town. Day 9 and 10 are free to continuing exploring around town.

  • Day 11 Santa Marta (1B)

    Travel by bus to Santa Marta with free time to explore. Continue to Taganga, a perfect base for exploring nearby Tayrona National Park.

  • Days 12-13 Minca/Taganga (2B,1L)

    Spend Day 12 on an excursion exploring the area around Minca. Head to a local ranch, hike to a waterfall, visit a local coffee plantation or opt for river tubing. Head to Taganga for a night. Day 13 is free in Taganga to explore.

  • Day 14 Tayrona (1B)

    Head into Tayrona National Park for a moderate hike with a local indigenious guide. This is a perfect opportunity to experience nature and learn a little more about the indigenious culture in northern Colombia.

  • Day 15 Santa Marta (1B)

    Hike out of the park and return to Santa Marta for a final evening out on the town.

  • Day 16 Santa Marta (1B)

    Depart at any time.
