  • Day 1 San José (D)

    Morning transfer from San José to Playa Junquillal. San José departure between 7-7:30am, depending on pickup location. Enjoy your peaceful getaway from it all for the next 3 nights.

  • Day 2-3 Playa Junquillal (2B)

    Located 33 km south of its boisterous cousin Tamarindo, Playa Junquillal is one of the quietest and most tranquil beaches in Guanacaste. Your hotel is perched atop a hill which overlooks the Pacific. Saunter down the steps to the ocean, and you've got miles of beach to walk along. The beach directly in front of the hotel is not swimmable due to rock formations found beneath the ocean's surface, but there are some nearby beaches that are great for swimming, surfing and lounging. If you'd prefer to stay closer to home, no need to wander any further than the chairs located poolside at your hotel. The hotel staff can help you to arrange any of a number of area activities, from surfing to sport fishing to renting an ATV or going horseback riding in the nearby hills.
