Meet at 8 am in Grand Junction before we take a 2.5 hour drive to the heart of the American West! Today is all about discovering Arches National Park via the many hiking trails. Arches National Park is carved and shaped by eons of weathering and erosion. It contains the world's largest concentration of natural stone arches. Explore the park's viewpoints and hike the famous Windows trail leading to three massive arches. This short hike is a great way to first see the park on foot and to enjoy the spectacular scenery and formations around this amazing area. Next hike to Utah’s most recognized landmark, the Delicate Arch! Enjoy a lunch break before heading down the trail again to your next destination: the Devils Garden, home of the longest arch in the world with 290 feet! Hike the complete loop of over 7 miles and be inspired by spectacular scenery and visit seven arches along the trail. In the evening return to Moab and enjoy a traditional cowboy dinner to end this perfect first day of your adventure! Spend the morning rafting on the Colorado River and discover spectacular scenery and the majestic Fisher Towers before you hear the unmistakable sound of Whitewater ahead! Paddle through rapids two to four before the adventure ends. Return to Moab and enjoy lunch in one of the many Restaurants before it is time for the next destination. Breathtaking views await us in the largest National Park in Utah, Canyonlands! It offers many pullouts with spectacular views along the paved scenic drive. Take a break and escape on to one of the many trails, including Mesa Arch and Grand View, providing an unforgettable Canyon Country experience that will last a lifetime! In the evening enjoy a gorgeous sunset dinner at Dead Horse Point State Park before we return to Moab.
Prepare yourself to be amazed as we take you to the next National Park. Witness isolated landscape of canyons, plateaus, and valleys as we travel on Scenic Byway 12, located in one of the most beautiful places on earth. Discover Capitol Reef National Park, filled with twisting canyons, massive domes, monoliths and spires of sandstone, which makes it a stunning, surreal adventure for everyone. Learn about the Fremont Culture, the first Native American settlers in this area as you view authentic petroglyphs. Take short hikes through Grand Wash and hike to Hickman Bridge. Enjoy a picnic lunch in Capitol Reef National Park before our journey continues. Driving through the amazing landscape of Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument we reach Bryce Canyon National Park, just in time for a colorful sunset. Experience this spectacular Park hiking the Peekaboo Trail and the famous Queens Garden Trail among the amphitheatres and multi-colored rock pinnacles called "hoodoos". Head back just in time for lunch on your own. The afternoon is reserved for optional activities such as horseback riding, scenic flight over Bryce Canyon National Park or if you still haven’t had enough of hiking, continue exploring the park on foot or just relax by the pool. Just a short drive leads us to Zion, Utah's oldest National Park. Explore the region that the Virgin River has sculpted into a profound landscape masterpiece on endless hiking possibilities. The most popular trail not to be missed is Angels Landing followed closely by the Emerald Pools. High plateaus, striking towers, temples, mesas, and the earth's tallest-known sheer sandstone walls will surround you with their awe-inspiring beauty on these famous trails. Enjoy breathtaking scenery one last time as we hike through the Narrows and walk through the water between high canyon walls as a nice way to cool off. Enjoy lunch in the Park before it is time to say good bye. Transfer to Las Vegas where our adventure ends at approx 5pm..
