  • Day 1 San Francisco

    Arrive in time for an evening Welcome Meeting and optional group dinner. There are no activities included today so check into your hotel and head out to enjoy the city.

  • Day 2 San Francisco/Yosemite National Park

    After a morning in San Francisco, drive to Yosemite National Park. Discover some of the most iconic attractions such as bustling Fisherman's Wharf or the stately Golden Gate Bridge. In the afternoon drive to Yosemite National Park. Approximate Distance: 225 km/140 miles Estimated Travel Time: 3 hours (with stops)

  • Day 3 Yosemite NP

    Take short hikes (weather permitting) to majestic waterfalls, clear lakes, beautiful meadows or walk amongst giant sequoias in Yosemite National Park. With a keen eye, you may be lucky enough to spot black bears, deer or coyotes. Optional bike rentals in Yosemite Valley (summer only).

  • Day 4 Yosemite NP/Bishop

    Continue exploring Yosemite in the morning on foot (weather permitting). Travel via Tioga Pass to Bishop. in inclement weather typically in the spring or autumn, we'll take an alternate route through the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Surrounded by peaks which soar to over 14,000 feet in elevation, Bishop, one of "America's Coolest Mountain Towns" sits directly in the center of an incredible area of natural beauty. Enjoy secluded natural hot springs where star gazing is amazing. Travel via Tioga Pass viewing Mono Lake and the Tufa Towers on the way.   • Day 5 Death Valley/Las Vegas

    Visit one of the country's most rugged landscapes, the legendary Death Valley, the hottest and driest spot and home to the lowest point in North America.   • Day 6 Las Vegas

    Full day to explore Las Vegas – fill it with shopping, visiting the casinos, lounging by a pool, eating and wandering.

  • Day 7 Zion National Park/Bryce Canyon National Park

    Visit Zion, Utah's oldest national park. Explore towering cliffs, massive canyon walls and hike diverse and exciting trails (weather permitting). Arrive in Bryce Canyon just in time to witness one of the most spectacular sunsets in the Southwest. Approximate Distance: 400 km/250 miles Estimated Travel Time: 5 hours

  • Day 8 Bryce Canyon NP/Lake Powell

    Explore Bryce Canyon NP on trails (weather permitting) among the amphitheaters and multi-coloured rock pinnacles called hoodoo. Then head to one of the largest man made lakes in North America, Lake Powell. Opt for a cowboy steak dinner and a sunset horseback ride (seasonal).   • Day 9 Lake Powell/Monument Valley

    Visit the Glen Canyon Dam and take a short hike to Horseshoe Bend, shaped by the Colorado River. Discover one of the most majestic places on earth, Monument Valley. Explore on a jeep tour led by a Navajo guide. Take an optional tour to Antelope Canyon, the second largest of its kind in North America. Be in awe as you reach the overlook after a short hike to the famous Horseshoe Bend, shaped by the emerald green Colorado River. Discover one of the most majestic places on earth, Monument Valley.   • Day 10 Monument Valley/Grand Canyon National Park (1D)

    Wander along trails, admire the views and have a pizza dinner at the rim of the Grand Canyon. Opt to take a helicopter flight or watch the IMAX Grand Canyon movie. Considered among nature's most spectacular offerings, the Grand Canyon provides spectacular opportunities for you to explore. Wander along a trail and feel the sunshine and wind on your face as you admire awe-inspiring views or sit and watch the changing play of light and shadows. In the afternoon enjoy a bird's eye view of the Grand Canyon with an optional helicopter flight or watch the most spectacular IMAX Adventure of all, the Grand Canyon Movie.   • Day 11 Grand Canyon NP/Sedona/Scottsdale

    Visit Slide Rock State Park. Stop in stunning Sedona on the way to the 'Valley of the Sun'. Stop at Montezuma Castle. In the evening, enjoy a night out in downtown Scottsdale. In the morning visit Slide Rock State Park, in the summer months, go for a swim. Drive Oak Creek Canyon and stop in stunning Sedona on your way to the Valley of the Sun. Stop and visit Montezuma Castle, a cliff dwelling built into the surrounding limestone cliffs. In the evening, enjoy a night out in downtown Scottsdale.   • Day 12-13 San Diego

    Visit the Imperial Sand Dunes, then head to San Diego. Visit the Imperial Sand Dunes, the largest mass of sand dunes in California. History, food and fun awaits us in beautiful historic Old Town in San Diego. When the sun sets experience the Gaslamp Quarter District with numerous pubs and nightclubs. Opt to visit Old Town, the Gaslamp district, Sea World or the San Diego Zoo. Opt for surf lessons or rent boogie boards to play in the waves (seasonal). San Diego is a great city to experience where life is lived outdoors. Check out optional attractions like Sea World or the amazing San Diego Zoo. In the evening relax on Mission beach or take optional surf lessons and rent boogie boards. Note- in the winter San Diego can be chilly.   • Day 14 San Diego/Los Angeles

    Welcome to Los Angeles. See the stars on the most famous sidewalk in Hollywood on an orientation tour. Drive through Beverly Hills and check out Rodeo Drive. Discover for yourself why Santa Monica Pier and Venice Beach are one of the highlights of Los Angeles. Optional bike or Rollerblade rental.   • Day 15 Los Angeles

    Free day to explore. Head to Santa Monica pier or 3rd St Promenade. Visit Venice Beach boardwalk, Sunset Boulevard or shop with the stars on Melrose.

  • Days 16-17 Santa Barbara

    Drive out of LA with stops along the way to Santa Barbara. Stop at a food truck, a local specialty, for lunch. Arrive in Santa Barbara and check out the wares at the weekly Arts & Crafts Market by the ocean. On Day 17, explore the city and surrounds with optional surf lessons, bike rentals, kayak rentals, a vineyard tour, local microbrew tour or whale watching. Santa Barbara is often referred to as 'the American Riviera' and is known for the spanish architectural influences. Opt to explore Stearns Wharf or one of the many museums.   • Day 18 San Simeon (1L)

    Drive up the Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) and enjoy the view. Stop along the way in Solvang and San Luis Obispo. Enjoy a picnic lunch at Pismo Beach. Opt to rent a dune buggy. Approximate Distance: 135mi/220 km Estimated Travel TIme: 2.5 hrs

  • Days 19-20 Monterey

    Another gorgeous drive along the PCH. Visit the elephant seals and stop for photos. Great food options abound with dinner choices including the restaurants on Steinbeck's famous Cannery Row. On Day 20 enjoy an included surrey bike tour and free time with options like kayaking or a visit to the famous Monterey Bay Aquarium. Monterey is best known for the picturesque coastline, the Monterey Bay Aquarium and the many John Steinbeck novels that take place here.   • Day 21 San Francisco
