Great Britain Costs


That all important pint of beer in a British pub can set you back £5 to £10 depending on where in the UK you are. Expect to pay more in cities, London tops the pint prices wheras Herfordshire is the cheapest place to drink.


The cost of an average meal in the UK restaurant ranges between $14-$16. Pubs in central London are a bit more pricey but street food delicacies can be found in many parts of the city and cost around $6-$8.

Taxi Ride

A 3km taxi ride in the UK costs on average $5-7 but fares differ greatly between cities and especially London and Aberdeen can set you back $8-$10 for the same journey.
